The rapid pace of business, coupled with the changing workforce and modern technology have created a new imperative for recruitment. Traditional recruitment methods, such as websites and online applications, are no longer sufficient. Government agencies have to adapt to new recruitment methods to keep pace with these changes and build their future workforce.
The glass ceiling remains impenetrable for the majority of women in the Federal service. The SES continues to be dominated by men.
It excites me that there are some activities happening to open the doors for more fellow women veterans to enter the Federal workforce however it should not stop there. Let us approach this in a way to keep the doors open to move up the career ladder.
