Fulfilling our work responsibilities while maintaining our personal well-being can be a lifelong struggle. But focusing on work at the expense of our health and wellness can lead to burnout, self-destructive habits and mental and physical distress.

Taking the time to reflect, ground ourselves and practice self-care has a positive impact on both our professional development and our overall well-being. Though mindfulness won’t necessarily eliminate the stressors in our lives and workplace, it gives us the tools “to handle our stress and worry in a healthier way.”
There is really no formula for heartbreak (although that would be wonderful) but with time and some of these techniques, it gets easier. You’re resilient and have the ability to overcome any situation.
