The Art of Blogging
Lately I’ve been a little off my natural state of blogging on GovLoop. Since I launched GovLoop 18 months ago, I’ve done a significant amount of blogging. But in a sense it comes and goes…
I think it is a lot like working out. When you are on the good train, it seems easy. How hard is it to get to the gym 3 times a week for an hour? When you are doing good, it seems easy. When you get off the rhythm, you wonder how you ever made the time.
Same with blogging. I’m going to try to carve out an hour a week to blog. I think it needs to be in my schedule.
Time to share….
Well said.
So what makes a good Blog post brilliant?
Good reminder that we need to be consistent with our good practices. You are a great blogger and we miss your posts!
I like David’s comments, maybe your next blog post should be to teach/remind others what make a good blog post.
Good question David. I actually think what makes a good Blog post brilliant is it leaves you with more questions than answers. For example, I think Seth Godin’s blog is brilliant.
Seth Godin’s blog is not brilliant. His tribe makes it brilliant. There are thousands of Seth Godin blogs out there; are they any less brilliant?
Me too. Like with working out, it has to become a habit in order to keep at it, something you feel bad about not doing.
