The 2010 Charity Challenge is a wrap!
YOU invited your friends and family to join GovLoop – all in an effort to raise money for the Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA).
Well…
The Challenge ended on December 21 and we’ve counted the number of new members to determine the final gift! Drumroll please…
$5,140
We surpassed our goal of $5000! And in the process, GovLoop saw an influx of 1,024 new members… pushing us just shy of 39,000 members. A big THANK YOU has be given to Sue Webster and Federally Employed Women for driving new members; they joined in droves!
Not sure what FEEA is all about? This kick-butt organization is dedicated to helping federal employees out – – whether that’s through family disaster relief or making education a reality through scholarships. Each year FEEA provides more than $1.5M in education funding to federal employees and their families.
They do some pretty amazing work and we at GovLoop feel honored to be a small part of that. Thanks to everyone who made this gift possible. Corny as it may sound, we genuinely couldn’t have done this without you.
